Shoot me, hate me, whatever you do just add me. I'm at it again!

I can't remember the last time I properly maintained and regularly updated a journal here. I have no interest in the things every other person on LJ seems to be interested in, such as commenting on everyone's entries (although I do read them all).

It all boils down to me not having any motivation to update or maintain an online journal anymore. Everything I'd like to update on I'd rather keep personal and the things I don't mind sharing with everyone aren't worthy of updates on a website that primarily encourages long, text-heavy updates. I'd delete my account, but because of ohnotheydidnt and various other communities I plan to keep the account open even though my journal will not be. For these reasons, feel free to cut me from your Friend's List. Feel free to ask me to remove you from mine too if you don't want the name of a dead journal in your "Friend Of" list. Since I'll still be on for communities, I'll be more than happy to oblige!

That being said I'd like to announce a new project I'd like to begin. I recently ordered a new point and shoot digital camera to replace the broken one I've been stuck with and would like to maintain a Tumblelog where I post a photo and one-liner related to my day's events for every day in 2010.

I've jumped on the bandwagon of embodiment's project every year where you maintain a paper journal and update (ideally) every single day of the year. Each year, however, something, usually lack of a paper journal, prevents me from doing so. The years I have attempted doing it though, I enjoyed looking back on the updates I did manage to write. I see the Tumblelog as an easy way to do something similar my own way. I'd really appreciate if you followed my journey through 2010!

Now that I'm "turning over a new leaf" so to speak in the internet blogging world and won't be using LJ anymore, I'd like to wish you all a happy and healthy 2010!
